What happens after I fill out the form?
I read it and get back to you within a day. Then I start on your free mockup. See every step
What is the free mockup?
A real design of your homepage, with your name and your look, before you pay anything. If you don't love it, no hard feelings.
Do I have to talk on the phone?
Nope. Text and email work start to finish, all from your phone. Rather talk? Call me anytime.
I'm not good with computers. Is that OK?
Totally. Send me the basics by text and I do the setup. Editing later is like filling out a form, and you can't break the layout. How editing works
Do I have to be in Idaho or Oregon?
No. Most of my clients are in Idaho and Eastern Oregon, but I build for businesses anywhere.
What's included
How much does a website cost?
$1,000 flat for the design, the build, the words, and unlimited edits before launch. $500 down, $500 at launch. No hourly billing. What $1,000 includes
How many pages do I get for $1,000?
As many as a normal small business needs. There's no page limit.
Do you write the words?
We write them together. You give me the basics, I write it in your voice, and you approve every word.
What if I don't have good photos?
Send me what you have and I'll make it work. Photos aren't part of the $1,000. What to gather
Is a contact form or online booking included?
Yes. Every site gets a contact form, and I hook up the booking system you already use. Hammer Down's trips book through FareHarbor right on their site.
Will you help with my Google listing?
Yes. At launch I help you point your Google Business Profile to your new site. How Google finds you
Do you do logos?
If you have one, send it over. If not, I can help with a simple logo, colors, and fonts.
What isn't included?
Your domain (about $15 to $25 a year), photography, ads, social media, and bigger changes after the first 30 days.
Money
When do I pay?
$500 down to start the build and $500 when your site launches. The mockup is free.
Is the deposit refundable?
No. It holds your spot and covers the design work. That's why the free mockup comes first, so you know you love it before you pay.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not from me. Your domain is about $15 to $25 a year, and most of my sites run on free hosting. If yours needs anything paid, I'll tell you first.
During the build
How many edits do I get?
Unlimited before launch, and I check in every day or two. We keep going until you love it.
How long does it take?
Usually a couple weeks from go to live. KW Wedding Events went live six days after the yes. The full timeline
Switching from an old site
I already have a website. Can you redo it?
Yes! I keep what's working, drop what isn't, and make sure your Google listing, email, and booking links keep working.
My domain is with GoDaddy. Can I keep it?
Yes, it stays right where it is. You click and I tell you exactly what to change. Hammer Down kept theirs at GoDaddy.
Will my email stop working when we switch?
No. I save every setting your email uses and keep them exactly the same.
After launch
What if something breaks after launch?
I fix it free for the first 30 days, plus small tweaks.
Can I update my website myself after it's built?
Yes. Most builds come with a simple dashboard for your words, prices, and photos. After 30 days, bigger changes get a quick quote. How editing works
Who owns the website?
You do. Your domain, site, and words are all in your name, so you're never stuck with me. I hand you the keys.
Will my site show up on Google?
It's set up right: fast, great on a phone, and easy for Google to read. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking. What helps you show up
