Walt Dunbar opened the store in 1961 with forty pairs of boots and a hat steamer he bought used in Boise. We've added a tack room and a lot more denim since then, but the idea hasn't changed: sell gear that holds up to ranch work, and fit it right the first time.

Most of the folks who walk in ride for a living, or used to. Some drive two hours in from Fields or Diamond. We'll take the time to get it right, and we'll stand behind it when the heel wears down.
