Hi, I'm Tess

I grew up on a cow-calf place up the Lemhi and know exactly what a long branding day does to your back. I trained in Boise, came home in 2017 and opened Yarrow in the old dentist's office on Main.

I grow most of the herbs for the teas and salves in my own garden behind the house.

How it works

Your first visit, start to finish

  1. 01Book online

    Pick a time that works. Evenings fill first, so Tuesday and Thursday nights go early in the week.

  2. 02A short form

    Tell me where it hurts, what you do all day and anything I should go easy on.

  3. 03Your session

    Warm table, quiet room, as much or as little talking as you want. I check in on pressure as we go.

  4. 04Tea to take home

    You leave with a stretch or two to try and a small bag of whatever tea fits the week.

Oils, teas and salves from the garden, mixed in my kitchen in pint jars. Pick them up after your session or call and I'll leave a bag at the front desk.

Gift cards from $60, good for any service or the apothecary. I'll mail a printed card anywhere in Lemhi County.

Questions people ask first

Do I need to undress all the way?

Only to your comfort. You stay under a sheet and blanket the whole time, and plenty of people keep their shorts on.

How firm is deep tissue?

As firm as you like and no firmer. Tell me when it's too much and I'll back off right away.

Do you take insurance?

I can give you a receipt for your HSA or FSA. I don't bill insurance directly.

What if I need to cancel?

Give me a day's notice and there's no charge. Calving season and bad roads get a pass.
